Develops secure, special purpose remote system administration tools - we developed custom web-based remote system monitoring and administration tools using Microsoft ASP, SSL, and personal digital certificates for authentication of remote administrators. A web-based "Shopping Cart Interface" (SCI) for merchants to use to incorporate e-gold as a payment method for their online stores. For the SCI web page (HTML) interface we used Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASPs) s. We also developed a Windows NT Service using C/C++ and Win32 that provides a robust http/https protocol communications server for sending payment transaction acknowledgements to merchants' servers. Many system enhancements for increased reliability, scalability, and maintainability. Squires Engineering, Inc. has been actively involved with e-gold™ server software since June 1997 when we were first secured to add international currency support to the server's HTML pages and cgi front end.
